All of the Han Moo Kwan Tae Kwon Do instructors are
volunteers. This is part of giving back to community that our Master,
Mr. Kim promoted.
The Han Moo Kwan Association has established
training requirements for three levels of instructor certification to
ensure Black Belts receive sufficient training to become proficient
teachers of the art form, in the style sanctioned by the Han Moo Kwan
Association.
For each Club, Instructors deliver the training
material designed by the Chief Instructor. They are proficient in the
Han Moo Kwan art form, and are comfortable presenting to a room of
students. They rely on the Chief Instructor for guidance, and defer to
him/her when they find their own knowledge lacking. Through this
process they will gain further experience.
Achieving the status of Certified Instructor is the
first step toward eventual promotion to Chief Instructor. The next
level, Senior Instructor, indicates sufficient knowledge and experience
to manage a club when the Chief Instructor is unavailable. For more
details of the requirements to achieve instructor status and the rights
of those instructors, refer to the Association Mandate HMKA-M8 entitled
"Instructor Certification".
In the Han Moo Kwan Club in Sunnyvale, the
following are sanctioned Instructors at the Club.
